Dear Sister, Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Shaya Akobian, and it is truly an honor to welcome you to BibleSSM for Women. I believe with all my heart that God is intentional—and if you’ve found your way here, it’s not by accident. I have served in ministry leadership for over 25 years, and throughout that journey, one truth has remained constant: God loves to meet women where they are and faithfully lead them into who they were always created to be. BibleSSM was birthed out of that conviction—a desire to see women rooted in Scripture, filled with the Holy Spirit, and confidently walking in their Kingdom calling. I have been married for 30 years and am blessed with three grown children, all of whom are married. Family, discipleship, and generational legacy are deeply woven into my life and ministry. I believe what God does in us is meant to flow through us—into our homes, our relationships, our churches, and our communities. I’m a California girl, raised in Carpinteria, California, and some of my sweetest moments with the Lord happen while prayer-walking with my feet in the sand, coffee in hand, and the power of the Holy Spirit in my heart. Those quiet, holy moments with God continue to shape the way I lead, teach, and pastor women. BibleSSM is more than a school—it’s a community. A place to grow, to be challenged, to be encouraged, and to be equipped.
